Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders Today
Founded in 2019 in the heart of Detroit, Enriching Young Minds exists to spark confidence, creativity, and leadership in Black girls aged 6 to 16. We believe that when girls see themselves as capable entrepreneurs and changemakers, they light up their communities—and the world.
What We Do
• Interactive Workshops: Girls learn by doing designing a brand, creating budgets, and testing their ideas in fun, age-appropriate projects.
• One-on-One Mentorship: Each participant is paired with a local entrepreneur or professional who offers encouragement, advice, and friendship.
• Community Showcases: Our pop-up markets and pitch events give girls a stage to sell their creations, practice leadership, and celebrate each other’s successes.

Enriching Young Minds empowers Black girls ages 6–16 in Detroit through entrepreneurship education, mentorship, and leadership training. We provide hands-on workshops, pitch events, and business fairs that build confidence, financial literacy, and startup skills—helping girls grow as innovators, changemakers, and future CEOs.
