Digital Product Policies

Enriching Young Minds
Updated September 8, 2026

These policies cover our Young Black Girls in Business ebooks and learning app for ages 6 to 9, 10 to 12 and 13 to 16. Parents handle purchases, accounts and permission. Separate donation, volunteer, event and SMS services may have different notices.

Ebook purchases and refunds

These are digital files. No printed books are shipped. Check the age range, included files and format before ordering.

Digital ebook purchases are final and nonrefundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law. This policy applies to new orders where it is shown before payment. It does not remove rights or more favorable terms that applied to an earlier purchase.

If your download is missing, will not open or contains the wrong product, email YBGBsupport@enriching-young-minds.org with your order number, purchase email and a description of the problem. Do not purchase again to fix a delivery problem. We can review the problem and help with the correct files. Contact us about duplicate or incorrect charges too. This policy does not remove legal remedies for a product that was not delivered or was materially different from its description.

Downloads and printing

Each age bundle contains its ebook, activity kit and parent guide. The family collection contains all three age groups with one shared parent guide. Open the ZIP file to reach the PDFs and START-HERE instructions. Save your downloaded files somewhere you can find them.

You may read the PDFs on a compatible device and print them for your household. Typing and saving answers depends on the PDF reader and the fields available in the file. Test a saved copy before completing a long activity. Answers entered in a downloaded PDF are not submitted to the learning app. Cloud PDF editors and storage services have their own privacy practices.

Membership and online program access

App enrollment is currently closed. The Young Entrepreneurs Club membership is prepared at $29 per month for up to 12 months unless canceled earlier, for one household with up to three learners. It has no setup fee or free trial. Ebook bundles and separate online programs are not included.

Before membership enrollment opens, the payment connection and customer cancellation flow must be verified. Parents will see the payment schedule, applicable taxes, access period and cancellation instructions before paying. A new subject opens each month from the family’s start date. The year contains 12 subjects.

The approved membership terms allow cancellation before the next payment through My Subscriptions in the parent’s Wix account. Cancellation ends future payments and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. It does not automatically refund earlier payments. Payments are nonrefundable except where a refund or other remedy is required by applicable law.

For the separate online programs, the selected completed-book download window is seven days after paid access ends. It applies only to an eligible completed business book. It does not add seven days of lessons or editing. Membership badges print with the saved answers for a completed month. They are not separate blank downloads.

Deleting learning records or withdrawing permission does not cancel a separate payment agreement. Contact support for billing help.

Personal use and learning activities

An ebook purchase permits personal learning use within the purchasing household. You may save backup copies and print worksheets for that use. Do not resell the files, upload them publicly, share download links outside your household or distribute our teaching materials as your own. Contact us before using them for a school, club, paid class or multiple households. These terms do not transfer ownership of a learner’s original answers or business ideas and do not restrict uses permitted by law.

Keep adult passwords and parent PINs private. Use pretend business details in practice work. A real business or sale is not required. An adult should supervise materials and handle any real spending, customer contact, meetings or public posting. Never ask a child to meet an unfamiliar customer alone or publish personal contact information.

Stories and characters are fictional teaching examples. Example prices and earnings are practice numbers, not promised results or recommended prices. The materials use United States references. Before real selling, an adult should check the current rules for the activity and location, including permissions, taxes and platform age requirements.

The materials provide educational practice, not individual legal, tax, financial or mental-health advice. Participation and badges do not guarantee income, business success or a particular learning outcome. A badge records completed activities, not a professional qualification. Optional before-and-after learning checks compare responses; they do not prove the program caused a change.

Privacy: purchases and learning work

The ebook store uses the adult purchaser’s checkout details, order information and payment status to process purchases, deliver files and handle support. The checkout service handles payment details. The learning app does not receive complete payment-card numbers. Do not send children’s completed worksheets with routine purchase-support requests.

The learning app uses a parent account identifier, learner nickname and age group, purchase assignments, parent permission records, lesson answers, progress, badges and download records. Optional learning checks store responses and scores, confidence choices, whether help was received and short project responses. Optional reviews and reflections store the information submitted. Support requests use the information needed to handle the request.

Use the supplied nickname choices. Do not enter a child’s full name, school, address, phone number, email, photo, payment details or other identifying information in an answer.

The optional feelings choice changes the encouragement on screen. It is not saved or sent to the app’s server and is not a health assessment. There are no public learner profiles, child-to-child messages, learner photo uploads or voice recordings in the app. Listening starts when selected and can be stopped. The app does not request microphone access.

Optional Murf narration sends prepared lesson text, not learner answers, nicknames or recordings. Device voices may be used instead and may have their own processing practices. Learning evaluations are not published as testimonials. Skipping optional checks does not remove lessons, earned badges or eligible completed-work downloads.

Services, cookies and parent choices

Wix provides the linked store and parent-account services. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide app hosting and related infrastructure. Cloudflare’s database stores app records. Hosting requests can include an IP address, browser details and security logs. Murf is an optional prepared-text narration provider.

The app uses browser records for sign-in, parent controls and learner sessions. It can also remember a selected review profile locally. Clearing these records may sign you out; it does not delete saved learning work. The app has no advertising placements or marketing-tracking scripts added by Enriching Young Minds. This does not mean the separate Wix website or sign-in providers use no cookies.

Provider notices: Wix, OpenAI and Cloudflare.

A purchase or sign-in is not permission to collect a child’s learning work. Separate parent permission is required before learner profiles and saved answers are allowed. Parents can request access, correction or deletion and withdraw permission for further collection. Contact support from the parent’s account email so we can verify the request.

Withdrawing permission stops new collection; it does not automatically erase earlier work. Deleting a learner profile removes its learning records from the app’s active database. Deleting the family workspace removes its app settings and permission-request records too. These actions do not delete a separate Wix account, reverse a payment or erase files you downloaded.

Keeping and deleting learning records

The selected retention period for learning records is 30 days after the relevant paid access ends. This is a deletion period, not extra lesson access. The separate seven-day completed-program download window described above still applies.

Cleanup controls have been added, but automatic execution and provider backup and log handling are not yet verified. Enrollment remains closed while those procedures are completed. Parents can request earlier deletion from the active app database.

Transaction records, signed consent correspondence, support emails and provider backups are separate from learner answers. Their retention and deletion procedures must be finalized before family enrollment. Deleting the app workspace does not instantly erase every provider’s backup or purchase record.

For purchase help, include the adult purchase email, order number, product name and a short description of the problem. For a reading, audio, navigation or PDF barrier, include the page or file name, device or reader used and what was difficult. Do not send passwords, parent PINs, complete card numbers, government ID documents or a child’s identifying or health information.

Nothing in these policies removes rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Material changes affecting children’s information require an updated parent notice and any required permission before the changed collection begins.
